Font Notes:
What looks like a former baptismal font is now [2022] set outside the cathedral, an old damaged basin on a modern base; the basin shows considerable damage -a large portion of the side cracked and repaired, and weathered all around; the sides of the basin are decorated with a band of trefoil arch-heads; one of the sides shows a cut square hole, perhaps an anchoring for an old cover.
