Church Notes: wooden church of 959; re-built early 13thC; re-built 1300-1350; since modified; restored 2006
Font Notes:
The present baptismal font was made in 1661 of Lahn marble; the round basin is moulded all around and bears a running German inscription that inlcldes the date, 1661; on the underbowl is an emblem inscribed in a cartouche or scrolled shield; the vase consists of a central shaft and three outer collonettes on a round lower base. The metal cover is of a later date and has a ball finial.
