There are two objects in this church that may be associated with the liturgy of baptiism. One is a cylindrical tub of very crude nature, totally plain, raised on a modern platform that also supports the second object [cf. infra]; the crude tub, if it was originally made for use as a baptismal font, has probably served other purposes, taking into account the holes in the sides which communicate with a side hole on the inside of the well, both of which suggest a use as water trough; there is, however, a central hole on the inside of the well, apparently blocked now, which would point to the usual means of baptismal font drainage. The second object is even harder to figure out; wide and rather shallow, with a possible drain hole in its centre, but now cemented over; the outside has a pattern of quasi-diagonal piping or ribs. Neither object has a cover. We have no local information on how the objects are now, or have in the past, been used. We have found no listing for either object in Palissy.
