Noted and illustrated in the Deutsche Inschriften Online, DI 73, Hohenlohekreis, Nr. 54 (Harald Drös), in: www.inschriften.net, https://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:0238-di073h016k0005405 [accessed 14 July 2022] as a baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with a rounded underbowl, raised on a tapering octagonal-to-square pedestal base; the sides of the basin bear an inscription in Gothic miniscule with the names of the Evangelists; a broad scotia below the inscription; a further inscription on a side of the curved underbowl bears the name of St Peter; the inscriptions have been painted in black. No cover present.
