Noted in Zu Gast in Dresden [https://www.zu-gast-in-dresden.de/die-weinbergkirche-in-dresden-pillnitz/] [accessed 9 July 2022]. Baptismal font made of sandstone probably at the same time as the altar [1648] and attributed to Johann Georg Kretzschmar; it consists of a cylindrical basin decorated with four cartouches inscribed with Biblical quotes in gilded lettering inscribed in scrollwork frames; baluster-shaped round pedestal base. Octagonal wooden font cover of the same period as the font; decorated with angel heads and a Latin cross finial; painted and gilded.
