The entry for this church in the Ev.-Luth. Kirchgemeinde (Bereich Kreischa-Seifersdorf) [https://www.kirchspiel-kreischa-seifersdorf.de/ueber-uns/kirchen/kreischa/] [accessed 9 July 2022] reports a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 13th century period bearing traces of paint; chalice-shaped and decorated with intersecting arch-heads and floral motifs on the basin, painted arch-heads on the underbowl, piping on the stem and mouldings on the lower base [="Taufstein aus dem 13. Jahrhundert [...] Die außergewöhnliche spätgotische Sandsteintaufe ist kelchförmig gestaltet mit Resten einer farbigen Fassung. Der Säulenfuß ist an der Basis mit gemalten Blüten verziert, der Schaft mit Stabwerk, das sich unterhalb des Beckens verschränkt und in Spitzbögen führt, darüber sind Kreuzbögen mit Lilien angeordnet"].
