Noted and illustrated in the Datenbank der Kulturgüter in der Region Trier [https://kulturdb.de/einobjekt.php?id=1527] [accessed 6 July 2022] as a baptismal font made of "lavatuff" in the 17th century. The font is round, not quite cylindrical as it narrows somewhat in the centre; painted. Metal cover with tiny cross finial; appears modern.
