The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed July 2022] notes: "Su iglesia, un tanto alejada del pueblo, tiene como titular a El Salvador. Es románica de planta, de una nave y una capilla añadida, con bóveda de cañón, ligeramente apuntada, en cabecera y de crucería en el cuerpo.
