Not mentioned in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com]. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed July 2022] notes this as one of three churches in town: "Cuenta también con otra iglesia, dedicada la Virgen de Berrueza al otro lado del pueblo, en la entrada desde El Crucero. Es barroca con planta de cruz latina [...] la pila es renacentista con acanalados y tiene base cuadrada". [NB: this same source mentions a monastery here dedicated to Santa María de Berrueza, documented in 1011; was it the predecessor of the later church?].
