Not mentioned in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com]. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed July 2022] notes this as one of three churches in town: "Tiene otra iglesia dedicada a San Nicolás en el barrio de salida hacia las Machorras" but mentions no font in it. The font is monolithic, a plain rectangular basin with tapering sides resting directly on the ground. No cover present but there is evidence on the upper rim for a font cover of rectangular shape. Although the font is totally plain it is possible that it dates from the time of the medieval church here, the 12th cemtury.
