Noted and illustrated in the Datenbank der Kulturgüter in der Region Trier [https://kulturdb.de/einobjekt.php?id=2159] [accessed 3 July 2022] as a limestone baptismal font made from a former Roman column and a Corinthian capital with foliage decoration [="Von der alten Pfarrkirche übernommen ist die Taufe aus Kalkstein. Zusammengesetzt aus einer römischen Säulentrommel und einem korinthischen Kapitell ohne dritte Arkantusreihe mit Voluten."] [NB: the two components of the font may have come from the large Roman vila that existed here between the 2nd and 4th century; the villa, probably destroyed during the invasions of the time; it was reconstructed in the 20th century].
