An entry in Bonenburg-Kirche [Aus verschiedenen Quellen zusammengestellt von Anni Heiduk, Dezember 2014] that using the source Chronik von Pfr. Strieder 1822-1849, describes and illustrates a Romanesque of cubic shape from the original church abbey church at Hardehausen; the object was donated to, and carried on a six-horse cart to Bonenburg ca 1820; there the former capital wasr carved for use as baptismal font [="Hier handelt es sich um ein romanisches Würfelkapitell, das im 12. Jahrhundert den Kopf einer Säule der ersten Abteikirche in Hardehausen bildete. Die Seiten sind je 1 m lang. Der Chronik ist zu entnehmen, dass der Erbpächter Langenheim aus Hardehausen etwa 1820 dieses Kapitell stiftete. Es wurde mit 6 Pferden von Hardehausen nach Bonenburg gebracht. Dort erfolgte die Aufstellung und Aushöhlung von Hand. Ein kupfernes Becken kostete 2 Thaler, 1 Silbergroschen, der Deckel darüber kostete 7 Thaler, 17 Silbergroschen und 10 Pfennig.
