The entry for this church in ToruńTour [http://toruntour.pl/4841/gorsk] [accessed 15 June 2022] describes and illustrates a baptismal font made of Gotland limestone in the first half of the 14th century here, but may have been brought here in the 17th century from a farm in thea area of Toruń, where it was being used as a water trough for the animals. Originally, though, rumour has it that it was made on Gotland and exported to the church of Stary Toruń, which had intensive trade with Gotland. This source further notes that it is similar fonts in Chełmno region: in Rogów near Toruń, in the church of St. Mikołaj Grudziądz and in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Chełmno itself. The octagonal basin is described as containg a arcade with eight refoiled arch-heads, five of which are filled with fabulous beasts (dragon, unicorn, etc.) while the remaing three have foliage and plants motifs. The base, however, is rather atypical for a Gotland font: an octagonal truncated pyramid of eight sides, with a roll moulding atop, each side carved with a stylised plant(?), raised on a plain octagonal lower base/plinth. No cover present.
