Church Notes: medieval wooden church believed to have been in place mid-13thC; a later half-timbered church burned down 1790;
A modern font is noted and illustrated by Harry C. Suchland in Alte Kirchen in Berlin (Berlin: Wichern Verlag, 2nd edition, 1986). The present baptismal font, which replaced an earlier wooden one in 1967 is modern, and includes a metal baptismal dish ["Messingtaufschale"]. [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here]
