Baptismal font of stone consisting of a an octagonal oblong basin on a base of the same shape; he octagonal basin has twelve faces, each decorated with a deeply-carved quatrefoiled flower inscribed in a circle; above, just below the upper rim of the basin is a busy vine all around; below, in what could be described of the upper base, is an arcade of twelve pairs of trefoiled arches or windows; the lower base is plain. The wooden cover is plain and flat, octagonal oblong and hinged in the middle; appears modern.
There are two stone fonts in this church, both located at the west end of the nave. Some confusion about the two fonts comes from the sources [cf. infra] when they seem to refer to a single font with disparate datings, some to the 13th century, others to the 16th. Further they are both polygonal and the basins of both are decorated with arches/windows; both of them are on short plain bases. Of the two fonts one is described in Enlart (1902) as being in a group of polygonal fonts, with "vasque polygonale oblongue, sur un pied très court" and dates it ot the 13th century. Similarly a font in this church is dated by Serbat Louis in Bulletin Monumental, tome 76, année 1912: 339 [www.persee.fr/issue/bulmo_0007-473x_1912_num_76_1] [accessed 23 May 2022]. Delpal's guide of 1985, however, describes it as "highly ornate 16th c[ent.]". The church itself dates from the 12th century but Delpal includes the font and the south door and porch among the 16th century alterations (France, 1985). A font is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM95000742]: "1ère moitié 13e siècle", but the corresponding illustration is of the later font. [cf. BSI entry for Vetheuil No. 1 for the earlier font in this church]
