A baptismal font of the 16th century in this church is described in the Société des antiquaires de Picardie. Fondation Edmond Soyez's La Picardie historique et monumentale ...: Arrondissement de Montdidier (Paris, 1902), p. 140: "les fonts baptismaux d Hangest en Santerre appartiennent à un genre représenté par de nombreux spécimens dans l'arrondissement de Montdidier. Ils sont en pierre et datent du xvi siècle. Leur cuve circulaire est cantonnée de quatre appendices arrondis le tout orné de têtes de chérubins, de mascarons et de guirlandes. Il est peu probable que ces appendices aient jamais servi de chapiteaux à des colonnettes détruites qui auraient caché les quatre statuettes sculptées sur le support central. Celles ci représentent sans doute les quatre évangélistes. Entre elles sont disposées des chutes de fleurs et de fruits suspendues à des bandelettes flottantes. Ces remarquables fonts baptismaux sont malheureusement en assez mauvais état."
