Noted in Kees de Wildt's Doopvont de Beeldenstorm (2018: 114-120) as one of a number of baptismal fonts of the Westerkwartier (then part of Flanders, later in France) having been desecrated, damaged or destroyed during the Iconoclastic Fury of 1566 [NB: we have no information on the date or period that font was from]. The present baptismal font in this church consists of an octagonal basin with a curved underbowl, the sides decorated woth garlands and broad arrises; it is made of painted wood imitating marble on the panels; raised on a slender baluster-type pedestal base decorated with mouldings. The font cover, which matches the basin in material and general appearance, has an orb-and-cross finial.
