Font Notes:
Noted in Kees de Wildt's Doopvont de Beeldenstorm (2018: 114-120) as one of a number of baptismal fonts of the Westerkwartier (then part of Flanders, later in France) having been desecrated, damaged or destroyed during the Iconoclastic Fury of 1566. The parish church in this village is mentioned in passim in B. Lesueur de Moriamé's Histoire d'Etrun: l'abbaye, la commune (Arras, 1899), unfortunately the mention does not include any information on the church itself or its history. [NB: not known which period the font that was destroyed in WWII was].
