This former parish church has had its parochial role transferred to the nearby Santuario da Escraviude, which may accout for the location of the baptismal font now as a decoration outside the church, exposed to the elements. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with concave ribbing pattern all around the sides and underbowl, raised on a polygonal pedestal base; the basin interior is divided into four: a large side occupting about 2/3 of the space, and three smaller compartments in the rest, the type of division introduced in France in the 16th and 17th century. [NB: we have no information on the medieval font here]
