Noted in Blomqvist (1929) in his cjapte on imported fonts, made of granite, its base reminiscing of the style on several Danish fonts of the period; central drain. Inventoried and illustrated in Borg (2002) as a 'Femsjögruppen' baptismal font made of granit ca. 1170. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910612F1] as a baptismal font made of granite ca. 1200, possibly a Danish work. No cover present. The highly decorated brass baptismal dish used on this font was probably made in Germany in the 17th century.
