Font Notes:
Not listed in Blomqvists (1920). Imvemtoried and illustrated in Borg (2002) as a baptismal font in the Nöttjagruppen made of sandstone ca. 1250. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910616F1] as abaptismal font made of granit in the second half of the 13th century; the SHM does not assign it to any group or type but does note that the basin resembles those of the 'gotländska ciboriegruppen' but it is made of a different material [i.e, not limestone but granite]. No cover present. There are two fonts in this church [cf. BSI entry for Traryd No. 2 for the later wooden font made by Johan Mentzefver in 1694].
