Listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [tp://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10081496] [accessed 22 April 2022] as a limestone baptismal font made between 1601 and 1700, and a font cover made of brass. A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 21 April 2022) informs of a medieval church documented by 1175, but demolished and replaced by the present neo-Gothic building in 1870. Pol Herman further notes that the present limestone font, said to be 17th-century [cf. supra], "To me it seems that the font is composite: the base and column are clearly Mosan style, maybe 16th century; the basin does not really fit with the base and has no particular features." [NB: an April 2022 photograph [cf. ImagesArea] shows the cross finial now lacking]. [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here]
