Noted in Blomqvist (1929) in his chapter of 'Figurlösa dopfuntar' as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 12th century. Noted in Hallbäck (1966). Inventoried and illustrated in Borg (2002) as a baptismal font of the 'Villstadsgruppen' made of sandstone ca. 1200. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910803F1] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200 in a regional workshop in Västergötland; the stone font and its later wooden lower base are coated in a marbled paint [NB: the lower base was added between 1880 and 1911, as photographs of the period show [cf. ImagesArea]]. No cover present.
