Baptismal font made of marble in 1690 decorated with the arms of Jacques Moullart de Vismarest (+1712) and his wife, Marie Héron (+1723), said to be possibly from the nearby village of La Calotterie. Listed font [PM62000194]. The font appears to be made of marble, a roughly hemispherical basin decorated witha torus-scotia all around below the upper rim, a large rectangular cartouche-like panel with the Moullart-Héron family arms at front, the emblem including the date 1629; the rest of the basin sides and underbowl covered in a gadroon pattern; raised on a round baluster-type pedestal base moulded at both ends. Plain wooden cover, round and flat, with a metal coss-bar lock. [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here].
