Reported in “Romaanse bouwkunst in het Land van Aalst” by Koenraad De Wolf, in Het Land van Aalst, tijdschrift van de geschiedkundige vereniging "Het Land van Aalst", jaargang LX, 2008, n°2, Page 130-131, 139, as a number of fragments of a Romanesque Tournai baptismal font now built into the outer wall of Sint-Amanduskerk in Moortsele; part of quadruped's [a lion's] body is still discernible in one of the fragments.
In a communication exchange betwwen Pol Herman and Jean-Claude (e-mails of 19 and 20 April 2022) Ghislain wrote: "Quant aux fragments de la cuve de Moortsele, vos photographies confirment les dégâts occasionnés par le sablage agressif imposé à l'église vers 2000!"
