Listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [http://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10081329] [accessed 15 April 2022] as a baptismal font made of "calcaire carbonifère" and dated between 1601 and 1700 [NB: this entry does not mention the modern base]. A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 15 April 2022) reports the original basin made of limestone in the mid-17th century, now mounted on a modern pedestal base. The dome brass font cover has a large cross finial.
