Danmarks kirker [http://danmarkskirker.natmus.dk/uploads/tx_tcchurchsearch/Ringkobing_0881-0930.pdf] [accesed 8 April 2022] reports and illustrates some fragments of a baptismal font made of granite, possibly the original of the Romanesque church here, were unearthed in the foundations work done in 1937 for the building of the 1940 tower; there is some decorative pattern on the underbowl part of one of the fragments; the source provides some of the actual measurements as well as some estimated based on those of the remains. These fragments were later located in the northwest side of the porch. [cf. BSI entry for Flynder No. 2 for the later font of this church]
