A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 11 March 2022) on the fonts at Veslen-Zuid includes this additional comment: "On the website of the Noord-Hollands Archief.nl in the image bank “De Boer”, there are pictures dated 12th of September 1974 that show a badly damaged basin at “Oud Velsen”. However, when I compare the interior of the church photographed on the same day, with the interior of the church at Velsen, I begin to suspect that there is something wrong here. I have not been able to identify such basin at Velsen. Not the end of the story, I hope." [cf. BSI entry for the font fragments listed as Velsen-Zuid No.1]
