The Lankwitzer Kirchengemeinde site [https://www.lankwitzer-kirchengemeinden.de/] [accessed 13 March 2022] informs that a number of liturgical furnishings, including the baptismal font, were replaced with modern ones in November 19661 [="Altar, Kanzel und Taufbecken werden entfernt und durch moderne Ausführungen ersetzt"], but the same source notes that the old replaced items were restored to use again in 1981-1983 [="1981-1983 Die alten Altar- und Kanzeltafeln finden einen neuen Platz in der Kirche und auch der alte Taufstein wird wieder benutzt"]. The modern font is illustrated in Alte Kirchen in Berlin, published by Wichern Verlag, 2nd edition, 1986. Photos by Harry C. Suchland.
