The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com] does not mention the font in it. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 10 March 2022] notes: "Hasta el año 1876 funcionaban por separado dos parroquias. La que continúa en la actualidad, dedicada a la Asunción de Nuestra Señora, es renacentista [...] Su ábside es poligonal con contrafuertes y otro románico en capilla lateral con ventanales cegados y canes lisos. Hay un óculo románico en una capilla. La portada es renacentista [...] Tiene otra portada románica, con capiteles y arquivoltas, tapiada, y canes en tejaroz partido. [...] La pila es de copa lisa y tiene borde moldurado y entrepaños en base cuadrada". The present font is probably from the 16th-century alterations to the medieval church, and is as described above. No cover present. [NB: we have no information on the medieval font here].
