Font Notes:
A baptismal font of apparent Mosan type and late-Gothic design is illustrated in a digital image of a July 1994 B&W photograph by Bert Kooijman, in the Katholiek Documentatie Centrum, Nijmegen [https://geheugen.delpher.nl/nl/geheugen/] [accessed 5 March 2022] [https://resolver.kb.nl/resolve?urn=urn:gvn:KDC01:7252375]. The font is the usual design of an octagonal basin with four human heads set at 90-degree angles. We have not been able to corroborate whether this is a e modern replica or an original. Dome font cover with tall finial.
A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 21 March 2022) informs that the Bulletin Stichting Oude Gelderse Kerken, 2001, najaarsnummer, jaargang 27, “Middeleeuwse stenen doopvonten in Gelderland”, by Schönlank-van der Wal, page 8 : claims that the font now in the Het Nieuwe Verbond, in Amsterdam, now holds the font formerly from Poederoijen.
