Fragment of the octagonal basin of a Mosan font decorated with heads; the fragment is approximatley half of the basin and appears to have been built into a wall. The Digitale Bibliotheek voor de Nederlandse Letteren (DBNL) entry for Tiel [https://www.dbnl.org/tekst/verm127bomm02_01/verm127bomm02_01_0024.php] [accessed 5 March 2022] reports two fragments of font, one Romanesque ca. 1200 and another 15th-century Gothic: "Een fragment van een romaansche doopvont (± 1200), afkomstig uit de Ned. Hervormde kerk te Zoelen [...] Een dergelijk fragment van een gothische doopvont (XV)."
