[NB: we have no information on the font of the 13th-century church here]. The publication De Munsterabdij van Roermond [23329_Munsterabdij Roermond hoodstuck 5.pdf] [accessed 4 March 2022] notes and illustrates a reddish marble(?) basin with moulded upper area and a gadrooned underbowl, perhaps 17th- or 18th-century. The stone is noted as probably Belgian by Marleen De Ceukelaire, Conservator verzamelingen geologie Koninklijk Belgisch Instituut voor Natuurwetenschappen, who gives the following title as reference: De Ceukelaire, M.; Doperé, F.; Dreesen, R.; Dusar, M.; Groessens, E.; collab.
