The entry for Stedesford in the Evangelische-Lutherische Kirchenkreis Harlingerland [https://www.kirchenkreis-harlingerland.de/gemeinden/stedesdorf] [accessed 21 February 2022] reports a baptismal font made of Baumberg sandstone in the early-13th century; the basin is decorated with a vine populated by animals, below which is a round arcade with eight biblical figures, one in each niche: Christ, Peter and the four Evangelists, as well as two other figures who can no longer be identified due to the damage to them [="Zur Ausstattung der Kirche gehört ein Taufstein aus Baumberger Sandstein aus dem frühen 13. The lower base on which the old basin stands is modern.
