A baptismal font of 1698 is noted and described in the church site [https://www.kirchenkreis-harlingerland.de/gemeinden/goedens] [accessed 20 February 2022]: "Der reich verzierte Taufstein stammt aus dem Jahr 1698." The font is made of painted wood and consists of an octagonal basin with a painted inscription in the upper panels; short pedestal base with four scroll ribs at 90-degree angles; square lower base with four balls above and four moulded bases below. The top of the basin has a frame to support the baptismal dish insert in use.
