Pastor Franz Rixen habe ihn von Künstler Heinz Jordans als Taufstein restaurieren lassen."] The font is located at present [February 2022] at the west end of the nave inside the 19th-century church; it consists of the original basin a typical Mosan font that had been broken up and later restored [cf. supra]; it has four human heads set at 90-degree angles of the round tapering basin, passant lions with curling tails on the panels between the heads; the base is a cluster of a broad central shaft and four outer colonnettes all of which have moulded capitals and bases; lower base of a matching design, all of it a modern replacement.
