The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com] does not mention a font in it. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 17 February 2022] notes: "iglesia dedicada a San Román, mártir. [...] Su ábside es románico, rectangular, con ventanal, canes y dos contrafuertes en esquinas. La portada es también románica, apuntada [...] La pila tiene copa lisa y pie cónico." No cover present now but there is evidence of anchoring hardware on the basin. There is a crude holy-water stoup by the south doorway, the basin half-built into the wall but also provided with a square pedestal support; probably of a composite nature.
