No entry found for this village in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com]. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 17 February 2022] notes: "iglesia, dedicada a San Román, mártir, de una nave de pequeñas proporciones [...] La pila es rústica". By 2017 this church was abandoned and very dilapidated. By February 2022 the roof had caved in and the whole of the interior is open to the elements, covered in debris and rubble; the font here still stands, now covered in the debris, towards the west end of the nave [cf. ImagesArea]. No cover present.
