The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com] dates the church to three building periods, in the 12th, 13th and 16th centuries, but does not mention the font in it. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 15 February 2022] notes: "A las afueras del pueblo y en terreno un poco elevado está situada su iglesia, dedicada a la Concepción de Nuestra Señora. Es románica [...] El ábside es románico [...] La portada es renacentista [...] La pila es de copa lisa con pie cilíndrico y base cuadrada con cabezas" [NB: the angle decorations are very eroded but not all heads?]. There is also a stone holy-water stoup by the doorway; square basin on a tapering square pedestal base and a square lower base; plain.
