The Voorloopige lijst der Nederlandsche monumenten van geschiedenis en kunst. Deel X. De provincie Noord-Brabant, Algemeene Landsdrukkerij, Den Haag / A. Oosthoek, Utrecht 1931 reported an octagonal bluestone baptismal font of the 15th century with a copper cover of the 18th century in this church. The church was destroyed during the 1944 'liberation bombing'.
A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 3 February 2022) noted that he could not find a trace of the font of the destroyed church of Huijbergen.
A further communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 1 September 2023) informs: "I found the Huijbergen font back in the chapel of the cloister of the Brothers of Huijbergen, also called the Wilhelmite Order (Congregatio Fratrum Huijbergensis) on Boomstraat 7, Huijbergen, Netherlands, 4635 C. Maybe the font is 17th century, contrary to literature that states 16th."
