The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com] dates the original church to the 12th-13th century but mentions no font in it. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 4 February 2022] notes: "su iglesia, dedicada a la Asunción de Nuestra Señora. Es románica en cabecera [...] La pila es románica, de copa, con borde moldurado y gallones y base circular con molduras". No cover present but there are two metal anchors and related damage in the upper rim of the basin, evidence of a previous font cover.
