A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 12 January 2022) relays information from a local history source (12 January 2022 from Historische Kring Duiven, Groessen, Loo, Wim van Heugten, Slenterweg 23, 6905 DN OOY bij ZEVENAAR) regarding the base of the Romanesque baptismal font of this church, present in graveyard ca. 1910 but lost afterwards -- summary in English: "In the eighties we searched with some members of the Historical Circle in the cemetery of the St. Remigiuskerk in Duiven for the mentioned foot of a baptismal font. Unfortunately without result. I myself suspect that the foot was found around 1910 when the church was extended with a large transept. [It] was probably lost afterwards. We also spoke to old residents at the time, but they could not remember anything about this."
