Werner Stalder's article Der untergegangene Taufstein in RP.Online edition of 31 October 2019 [https://rp-online.de/nrw/staedte/kleve/serie-taufsteine-die-neue-heimat-im-spyckkloesterchen_aid-46812653] [accessed 1 February 2022] informs of a baptismal font originally from the disappeared Marienkirche of Brienen; after many events the font was consecrated in Klever Spyckklösterch on 8 June 1997; the hexagonal font has been described as 15th-century and it is chalice-shaped; it is decorated with a vine all around under the protruding rim; the side panels of the basin have trefoiled motifs on them; the pedestal base, also hexagonal, appears modern. No cover present.
