The entry for this church in Reliwiki [https://reliwiki.nl/index.php/Dronrijp,_Tsjerkebuorren_1_-_Salviuskerk] [accessed 25 January 2022] reports a baptismal font in it ["een doopvont met heel apart beeldhouwwerk"]. The 'font' referred to in the source above is a composite object is now being used as baptismal font in this church; it is said to have being assembled together from baked clay parts and accepted as font by Herrius (Herre) Halbertsma (+1998), an archaeologist at the Fries Scheepvaart Museum, in his article in the Bericht in Leeuwarder Courant of 11th of December 1979. Steensma's Middeleeuwse doopvonten uit Friese Kerken, Keppelstok, Stichting Alde Fryske Tsjerken, publication nr. 58, June 1999, however, informs that during the restoration of the church in Zweins (1978-'80), seven ornaments baked in yellow clay were found when digging a trench along the foundation of the north facade; five of them are complete human figures and two with a head, all cut out in the wet clay before being fired. Given the Burgundian clothing, the pieces must have been made in the 15th century; Steensma refutes that they are or were part of any baptismal font. Ulbe Zwaga's De Beeldjes van Zweins [keppelstok64.pdf] describes the discovery of the relevant baked clay parts in Zweins and the assembling together into the font later given to Dronryp church]. [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here.
