The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com] describes the church as originally Romanesque but much modified in later interventions, especially in the 16th century; no font mentioned in it. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 25 January 2022] notes: "San Martín, obispo, es el titular de su iglesia. Es gótica [...] con cabecera románica [...] El ábside es románico, [...] La pila es románica, de vaso, lisa con base circular." Baptismal font of stone consisting of a plain hemispherical basin raised on a round pedestal base with a roll moulding at the top end, the only decoration on the font; dated as Romanesque by Nebreda Perdiguero [cf. supra], but more likely of a later period. No cover present. The large stone holy-water stoup could be 16thC or later.
