The Dagblad voor Noord-Holland. Westfriesche editie, 1943-05-22; p. 2, reports a baptismal font of sandstone from the eleventh or twelfth century that was found by Messrs Lütigharms and Westra during their excavation work in the garden of the rectory; at the time the font was to be placed in the liturgical centre, to the right of the liturgical table. A comunication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 9 May 2022) notes: "I received pictures of this font that was badly damaged after the reformation [Source : Andries Kraak (Scribe of the church community) e-mail : scribapknharenkarspel@gmail.com [...] I have read that the font is made of Bentheimer sandstone, but I do not recognize any typical feature of a Bentheimer font. Warmenhuizen is far away from the typical area of distribution of Bentheimer fonts. I have the impression that a fragment of the a gothic decoration at one of the 8 corners has been preserved." The entry for this church in Reliwiki [https://reliwiki.nl/index.php/Warmenhuizen,_Dorpsstraat_93_-_Ursulakerk] [accessed 9 January 2022] mentions no font in it.
