A baptismal font from Kuinre [original church unknown] is listed among those in the Rijksmuseum, Amterdam, but the entry for Martinikerk in Bolsward [https://www.friesland.nl/nl/locaties/372729357/martinikerk-bolsward-1] [accessed 2 January 2022] mentions a Gothic baptismal font made of blue limestone originally from Kuinre. The entry for the Boldsward church in the Rijksmonumenten [https://rijksmonumenten.nl/monument/9812/martinikerk/bolsward/] [accessed 2 January 2022] has several photographs of the font in the context of the Bolsward church interior. The font is of the common design that has an octagonal basin with the torus-scotia-torus decoration below the upper rim and four human heads set at 90-degrees on the sides, but, in this case, only one of the visible three 'heads' is actually finished, the others left unfinished where the face would have been; the pedestal base is octagonal, moulded around the middle, and with the ususal four stops below that transition the lower base to square. One of the sides of the pedestal base shows damage on its upper half, otherwise the font appears in good condition. No cover present.
