The entry for this church in Reliwiki [https://reliwiki.nl/index.php/Ommeren,_Kerkstraat_1_-_Lambertus] [accessed 1 January 2022] informs that an old baptismal font was destroyed during the restoration ["Een oud doopvont werd bij een restauratie vernield"]. Further sources consulted by Pol Herman for BSI inform:
1) De Betuwe, R.F.P. de Beaufort en Herma M. van den Berg, Staatsuitgeverij, Den Haag 1968: An old baptismal font, which according to description was large, but only 25 cm deep, and on which heads and leaf ornament were chiseled, was destroyed during a restoration of the church. Some pieces were later found.
2) VOORLOOPIGE LUST DER NEDERLANDSCHE MONUMENTEN VAN GESCHIEDENIS EN KUNST Deel IV, DE PROVINCIE GELDERLAND. UTRECHT - A. OOSTHOEK - 1917: Remains of a sandstone baptismal font are in the Oudheidkamer in Tiel.
Pol Herman adds: unfortunately, the entire collection of the pre-war Oudheidkamer at Tiel, built up in the years 1901-1940, was lost on 23 February 1945 during an Allied bombardment with phosphorus shells.
The present [2021] font in use is modern, made of wood with a metal basin insert.
