The entry for this church in the Rijksmonumenten [https://monumentenregister.cultureelerfgoed.nl/monumenten/38084] [accessed 1 January 2022] reports a 15th-century late-Gothic font in it. Information gathered by Pol Herman and communicated to BSI (e-mail of 20 December 2021) reports: "There is a late Gothic sandstone baptismal font from the early 15th century. It has a square base and foot and an octagonal basin, which is decorated with so-called three step arches. During the Reformation, this piece of sculpture, which recalled Roman Catholic baptism, was removed. They refrained from smashing the piece and buried it in the sexton's garden. There it remained hidden for three centuries, until it was discovered accidentally during excavation work. No one recognized it as a baptismal font. According to tradition, the sexton used it as a flower box. The baptismal font was restored in 1906."
