The entry for this church in Rijksmonumenten [https://rijksmonumenten.nl/monument/38665/rk-sint-martinuskerk-st-maarten/wehl/] [accessed 30 December 2021] reports a Gothic baptismal font of sandstobe decorated with tracery and masks ["gotische zandstenen doopvont met traceerwerk en maskers"]. The font consists of an octagonal basin with torus-scotia-torus mouldings below the rim, the underwould decorated with a trefoiled window tracery that has heads and masks in the spandrels; the underbowl shows evidence of breakage and repairs; reised on an octagonal pedestal base and an octagonal-to-square lower base. No cover present.
